Forrester and the People vs. The Powerful
Didn't Forrester get the memo from Joe Lieberman that this kind of rhetoric doesn't work:
"This election is now a contest between, on the one hand, those who seek to restore our reputation and improve the lives of every New Jerseyan, and, on the other, a few establishment elite party bosses who will do whatever is necessary to keep their grip on power," Mr. Forrester said. "It's the power brokers and the party bosses against the people, and I put my faith in the people."
When you know that most people who will vote don't agree with you on any issue, you're not running against a crook, and you can't get the supreme court to bail you out, there's always this. How about just arguing for your position? Why are you against gun control and choice? Why are you for social security privatization? You better get the word out buddy, because you're about to get beaten.
